The genesis of K&D dates back to the 2010s when Emmanuel Moreau, who had founded the consulting firm Zetamind a few years earlier, noticed that all his clients were unable to answer specific questions about their inventory and the usage of their components.
The consultants are therefore faced, due to a lack of data, with the difficulty of defining target architectures, multi-year budgets, and improving the quality of the production plan.
It was during a user club that major accounts like SFR and Air France encouraged him to create Know and Decide at the end of 2015, with these clients having participated in drafting the functional specifications.
The main objectives were to develop a no-code, agentless solution that is simple and quick to use in order to ensure rapid deployment without relying on internal teams and without having to depend on expensive consultants during operation.
